Dickinson eyes Bramall Lane shock
Portsmouth defender Carl Dickinson is hoping to shock promotion-chasing Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in Monday night's npower League One clash. The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Fratton Park from Watford and made his first appearance in almost two months last week as Pompey lost at Stevenage. However, Dickinson is pleased with his fitness levels and believes improving Portsmouth can push the Blades all the way.
He said: "It's Sheffield United. It's a big stadium and a big crowd, but if we play like we did in the second half against Stevenage I'm sure we can stamp our authority on the game. "I actually felt quite good against Stevenage. I thought I would be struggling with cramp towards the end, but I felt pretty good." Portsmouth can be backed at 12/1 with bet365 to secure a 1-0 win at United while Dave Kitson is 5/1 to open the scoring against his former club.
