Serie A 2010/11

Mario Balotelli admits he will always have a soft spot for Manchester City and manager Roberto Mancini after completing his move to AC Milan on a four-and-a-half year deal.

The Italy forward has finally ended his eventful stay in Manchester but said he will always have affection for City, who are 4/1 to retain their Premier League title with bet365. The 22-year-old, who joined the club in 2010 from AC's rivals Inter, lifted the Premier League and FA Cup during his two full seasons in England but has failed to recapture his early form so far this season. "I love Roberto [Mancini], he has been very important for my career, and I will always thank him for having trust and faith in me," said the 22-year-old. "Being at City was an important part of my life and career. I needed to grow up like a player and as a person, and it has been a very good experience for me. "I will always be interested in Manchester City and their fortunes. I really hope that City can win the league again this year and beat United. I think there are great players at the club and a great manager too."
