Cross-Sport Multiple: Back Toffees to break Hammers

Andrew Hughes thinks Everton will pick up all three points on Sunday and help land a cross-sport multiple in the process.

Bet 1: Back Everton to beat West Ham at 1.5

Everton's chances of European football next season are virtually nil and West Ham are safe from relegation, so this has the makings of a drab end of season affair.

Yet David Moyes will not want his final game at Goodison Park to be a damp squib, and there is still the small matter of finishing about Liverpool for the second consecutive season, a feat that the Toffees last achieved in 1937.

Two wins from the two remaining games would also represent Moyes's biggest points total as Everton manager, and that would be a fitting record on which to conclude his time at the club. West Ham have won just one of their last eight games away from Upton Park and have only won six of their thirty-three Premier League games against Everton. Back the home side to get all three points.

Bet 2: Back Rajasthan Royals to beat Chennai Super Kings at 2.1

Chennai are already assured of a play-off place and it would take an unlikely sequence of results to stop Rajasthan from finishing in the top four. There is still plenty to play for though. A top two spot gives a team a couple of chances to make the final, whereas third and fourth need to win both play-off games to get there.

The visitors have been impressive away from home in IPL6 by winning all but one of their games on the road, but I think they may lose out on Sunday.

The Royals have won seven from seven in fortress Jaipur, and while they may not be as high profile as Chennai, under Rahul Dravid's calm and assured leadership they have put on some impressive team performances. Their seam-dominated bowling attack is perfectly suited to the Jaipur surface and they are one of the better fielding sides in the competition. Back them to upset the form book.

Bet 3: Back Saracens to beat Northampton at 1.3

Sunday's Aviva Premiership semi-final play off is between two sides who both lost at this stage of the competition last year, Saracens going down to Leicester Tigers, whilst Northampton were just pipped by eventual champions Harlequins.

Saracens though are the favourites here and justifiably so. They finished top of the table for the first time, whilst Northampton sneaked into the last play-off spot by beating Gloucester.

This is the third semi-final Saracens have reached this season, having lost to Sale in the LV Cup and to Toulon in the Heineken Cup, but I think it will be third time lucky for Sarries. They have won their last three encounters with Northampton and are undefeated at Allianz Park this season. Back the home team to prevail.
