Golf: Masters already on Snedeker's mind

Brandt Snedeker, 18/1 with bet365 to win the Green Jacket, is eyeing a challenge for Masters glory after returning to action after a rib injury.

The 32-year-old, who finished tied for third place at the Masters five years ago, is determined to try and mount a challenge for glory at Augusta next month, having been careful in his return to action from his rib problems. Snedeker said: "This is an injury you don't want to try to play through, because it can get worse and the Masters is something that you don't want to miss due to an injury. "I'm glad I'm back, but the Masters was a concern. I wanted to make sure I was healthy enough to play the Masters 100 per cent." Snedeker is back in action at the Arnold Palmer Invitational having won at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in early February before being forced to take time off.
