Hull

Having looked almost certain of second spot a couple of weeks ago Hull need a win over the champions to be sure of joining them in the Premier League next season. Three games without a win, including losses at Barnsley and Wolves, is not the kind of form you want at this stage of the season and Bruce's men have only scored more than once in one of their last nine games. Nobody has managed to get into double figures for the season as the goals have dried up for the Tigers but surely fear of failure will get them over the finish line here? Hull fans certainly don't want to be facing the likes of in-form Brighton or Bolton in the play-offs.

Cardiff

With the trophy now in their possession, it's reasonable to question how the visitors will approach this game and after showing admiral professional pride to earn two draws against Burnley and Bolton this could be where Malky McKay's side take their foot off the pedal. Although they have lost just one of their last 11, they have been grounding out results and can certainly be forgiven for a lack of intensity here. Home form won them the title and one win in the last five shows they are not the same side on the road.

Match Odds

The home side may have struggled of late but this is a cup final for them and the opportunity to back them on their own patch at 2.08 has to be taken. Cardiff will have been enjoying themselves this week after being presented with the trophy last Saturday and with so much at stake for The Tigers, I can't see them spurning the opportunity to seal second spot.

Correct Score

Neither side has been prolific in front of goal lately (Hull haven't scored in each of the last three games). With a tense afternoon in prospect the most likely result is victory with the only goal of the game for the home side - the 1-0 scoreline can be backed at 8.0.
