Mourinho points to Blues return

 

Jose Mourinho has pointed the way to a possible return to Chelsea after seeing his Real Madrid side fail to reach the Champions League final.

 

Mourinho was previously in charge at Stamford Bridge between 2004 and 2007 and is keen on a return to England after three years at the Bernabeu. The Portuguese said after Real were beaten 4-3 on aggregate by Borussia Dortmund and knocked out at the semi-final stage for the third consecutive season: "I know in England I am loved, I know I am loved by some clubs, especially one. "I haven't made a decision because I have a contract here. At the end of the season I want to sit down with the president and speak about it." Chelsea will be in Europa League action on Thursday when they defend a 2-1 lead in the home second leg of their semi-final against Swiss champions FC Basel, with the Blues 1/16 with bet365 to reach the final.
