Chelsea are in the driving seat to finish in the top four after beating Swansea, while Arsenal gain a well-earned point against the champions. Mike Norman details the In-Play odds matched...

Arsenal are 1.31 to record a Top Four Finish after a spirited 1-1 draw with Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

The Gunners were much the better side during the first 30 minutes and deserved the 1-0 lead given to them by Theo Walcott early in the game; the Englishman finishing well after being played through by Tomas Rosicky, though replays later showed that he was marginally offside. Walcott was matched at 11.0 in the First Goalscorer market.

United started to get back into the game as the end of the half approached, and just minutes before the interval the champions were awarded a penalty when Bacary Sagna brought down former Gunner Robin van Persie who smashed home the resulting spot-kick. The 1-1 Half Time Score was matched at 11.5.

Both sides had chances to win the game in the second half though David De Gea and Wojciech Szczesny were in fine form to ensure the game ended all square. The Draw was matched at 5.4 In-Play with the 1-1 scoreline touching a high of 13.0.

Earlier in the afternoon Chelsea consolidated their place in the top four with a comfortable 2-0 win over Swansea at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues were matched at a high of just 1.68 for victory but the betting drama came at the end of the first half when first Oscar (matched at 11.0 to score the opening goal), and then Frank Lampard, scored goals within minutes of each other.

The 0-0 Half Time Score was matched at 1.19 before Oscar fired home into the bottom corner, and with just seconds remaining before the interval the 1-0 Half Time Score was matched at 1.11 before Lampard tucked home a penalty. The 2-0 Half Time Score was matched at 22.0 In-Play with the same scoreline being matched at 8.8 in the Correct Score market.

The victory means Chelsea move three points clear of fifth place Spurs having played the same number of games. The Blues are just 1.19 to finish in the top four with The Lillywhites available to back at 2.42.

Elsewhere QPR and Reading's inevitable relegation to the Championship was confirmed when the sides played out a dull 0-0 draw at the Madejski Stadium. The Draw was matched at 4.0 with the 0-0 Correct Score being matched at 16.5.
