England - Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Andre Villas-Boas believes that 16 points from his side's final eight Premier League games will be enough to secure a top-four finish.

Spurs, who are evens with bet365 to finish in the top four, have lost their last two games to give hope to both Arsenal and Everton in the chase for Champions League football. And, ahead of a tricky trip to Swansea City on Saturday, Villas-Boas has urged his side to end their mini-slump, saying: "We have to get our act together for the rest of the fixtures to achieve our objective. "Seventy points is usually enough to be in the top-four spots. There are 24 points to be played for, so that means we need 16 more points." Spurs will be aiming to complete a double over the Swans this season when they head to South Wales, with a Jan Vertonghen effort enough to ensure a 1-0 win at White Hart Lane in mid-December.
