Stjarnan vs Keflavik

Sunday 20:15

First up Betfair Live video brings you action from Iceland as Stjarnan host Keflavik in the Urvalsdeild. It's still early days but already these two teams are moving in different directions.

Located in the Western suburbs of Reykjavik, Stjarnan have been making a name for themselves recently and not just through their entertaining goal celebrations. Despite being one of the smallest teams in the league they have showed constant improvement since promotion to the top league in 2008.

After a reputable fifth place finish last year they look like they mean business this time, the season began with a disappointing loss to KR Reykjavik but since then they have gone on an unbeaten run winning four from five. Halldor Bjornsson has started his season well and scored in their last two outings, he'll be the one to watch on Saturday.

Keflavik have endured a far less encouraging start. They have lost four of six and are leaking goals at an alarming rate letting in thirteen already this campaign. Manager Zoran Ljubicic will need to turn things quickly if he wants to hold onto his job.

Keflavok's Goalkeeper is Englishman David Preece and he is likely to be in for a busy evening on Sunday, expect Stjarnan to attack from the off in the Samsung stadium.

Atletico Rafaela vs Newells
Sunday 21:10

Second up is a game of huge consequence from Argentina; Newells Old Boys could effectively win the Torneo Final but will have to overcome Atletico Rafaela who will be desperately trying to get a result to hold on to their top-flight status.

Atletico Rafaela only came up to the Primera Division two years ago and are now hovering precariously above the relegation places. With two more matches to go they just need a point to guarantee safety and ward off the threat of Argentinos Juniors.

Without a win in five and without a goal in their last two home matches their form is pretty unimpressive but they will hope that their fans' support can help lift spirits for the last home game of the season.

Despite the importance of the match there will be no Newells fans in attendance. There was more violent scenes in Argentine Football last week and it ended in the tragic death of a Lanus fan. Now at last the authorities have taken some action and the remainder of the Torneo Final will be played without any away fans.

Newells will make the short trip north from Rosario to Rafaela looking for the three points that will all but ensure they win the Torneo Final.

Manager and Newells legend Gerardo Martino has proved to be a great leader, after finishing runners up in the Torneo Inicial they have been far the most impressive performers in this competition. Not only are they doing well domestically but they're also in the semi finals if the Copa Libertadores where they face Ronaldinho's Atletico Mineiro in July.

Newells have outscored every other team by thirteen goals, a lot of those have come from top scorer Ignacio Scocco who has proved a sensational signing. Old boys Gabriel Heinze and Maxi Rodriguez also returned this season and their experience has proved vital.

With a three point lead and a hugely superior goal difference they only need one win from either Sunday's game or the last match of the season at home to Argentinos Juniors who may already be relegated by then.

It's pretty safe to say they will end top but it will be largely down to their home form, away they are without a win in three and may find it a tough task on Sunday but expect them to get the job done and bring the party to Rosario next week.
