England batsman Ian Bell has warned his side, who are 1/4 with bet365 to win the Test series, to expect hard work in the three upcoming matches against New Zealand.

The tourists won both the Twenty20 and one-day international series by a 2-1 scoreline, but Bell is cautious about predicting a similar success in the Test arena. He said: "We know that it doesn't matter who you play against in Test cricket, five days of real hard work is in front of us to win any Test match against anyone in any part of the world. "We are ready for that hard work. There are some world-class players in the New Zealand team and we are going to have to play some really good cricket to beat them." Bell has previously played in three Test matches in New Zealand, averaging exactly 50 in the series in 2008, scoring a century in the third Test in Napier which England won by 121 runs.
