Andrew Hughes thinks administration-threatened Coventry can beat Portsmouth and help land a Saturday cross-sport multiple in the process.

Bet 1: Back Coventry to beat Portsmouth at 2.05

It's a battle of the debtors at Fratton Park on Saturday as Portsmouth take on Coventry. The hosts are in administration and the visitors in dire peril of ending up in  the same fate, which could involve a promotion-thwarting points deduction.

Portsmouth have been in the bottom three for most of the season and are eight points from safety, but have picked up in recent weeks, only losing one of their last  five, managing two wins and a creditable draw at league leaders Doncaster last weekend.

Coventry had also been on a reasonable run of form, and are just three points off the play-offs, having had to fight hard against relegation-threatened rivals in their  last two games at the Ricoh. Away from home, the Sky Blues have won their last five away games in all competitions, and they should prove too strong for Portsmouth.

Bet 2: Back Northampton Saints to beat London Wasps at 2.25

There are five rounds to go in the Aviva Premiership, and with Saracens opening up a healthy lead at the top, the closest battle is for fourth place. Three teams are  within three points of each other as they fight for the final play-off spot, and two of them go head to head at Adams Park on Saturday.

Northampton are three points ahead of Wasps and Gloucester, but they have tough games against Leicester and Harlequins to come, so need to take this chance to increase  their Premiership lead over their play-off rivals.

Both sides will benefit from the return of their England stars, but whereas Wasps have been faltering in recent weeks, losing to Worcester and London Irish,  Northampton appear to be over their mid-season blip and have won their last three. Saints have a good record against Wasps, winning their last seven and can prevail on  Saturday.

Bet 3: Back Hull FC to beat London Broncos at 1.52

Twelfth plays ninth in Saturday's Super League clash at the Twickenham Stoop. The overall record in meetings between these teams stands at 20-16 in Hull F.C.'s favour  and they've won the last five encounters, the latest being a 14-12 victory last year.

Broncos had a poor start to the season, losing their first four matches, but they've steadied the ship in recent weeks with a couple of wins, although those successes  were against two of Super League's lesser lights, Salford and Castleford.

Although Hull have lost four of their seven matches so far, they have beaten Bradford and managed a creditable draw at St Helens along the way. Broncos will be boosted  by last week's win that lifted off the bottom of the table, but Hull are the stronger team and can earn their first away win of the season.
