Cross-Sport Multiple: Spurs to shake off San Siro fatigue

Andrew Hughes thinks Tottenham can win the first of Sunday's London derbies and help land a cross-sport multiple in the process.

Betfair now gives you the facility to mix and match your multiples across a huge range of sports and markets with the easy-to-use betslip and so each weekend I've been  putting together a cross-sport treble with the aim of showing the way to maximise your profits.

Bet 1: Back Tottenham to beat Fulham at 1.44

Tottenham's extra-time defeat in Milan on Thursday might give Fulham some cause for optimism in this London derby. Even though they sneaked through to the quarter- finals of the Europa League, they may be feeling a little battered and bruised, with only three days to recover.

The problem for Fulham backers is that, although they are looking fairly solid, Martin Jol's team doesn't have the cutting edge to take advantage of any Tottenham  weaknesses. Fulham haven't won at White Hart Lane in ten years, and have only won twice away from Craven Cottage this season.

After their defeat against Liverpool, this is a must win game for Tottenham if they are to secure Champions League football next season and with Gareth Bale, Michael  Dawson and Hugo Lloris all returning to the side, they will be ruthless in exposing a limited Fulham team. Back the home win.

Bet 2: Back Tenure to win the 4:15 at Lingfield at 1.81

After the classier fare of the Winter Derby card, we're back to more mundane racing at Lingfield on Sunday, but there's a horse with more potential than most in the  fifth race of the meeting, a ten furlong handicap.

Tenure was formerly trained by Sir Michael Stoute, but was picked up by Gary Moore in the autumn after a couple of disappointing outings as a three-year-old. He had a  low key start in a Lingfield maiden in January, before being upped to ten furlongs for his handicap debut at Kempton last week, winning convincingly.

He carries a penalty for that win, but has plenty in hand, and will end up in far better races than this Class Six affair. Up against a low grade mixture of thoroughly  exposed handicappers, he should have no problem picking up another win.

Bet 3: Back Hull KR to beat Bradford at 2.5

It's been a strange start to Super League for troubled Bradford. Big wins over Warrington and Huddersfield have been balanced by defeats against Hull FC and St Helens,  and last week they struggled to hold on for a draw at Widnes.

The overall Super League record stands at 7-5 to Bradford, but I think Hull are good value to make it 7-6. They are picking up after losing their opening two games.  Their powerful pack is starting to get into gear, and they've beaten Widnes, Warrington and London Broncos, to move up the table into the top eight.

Rovers coach Craig Sandercock has the advantage of picking from a full strength squad, and although Bradford will welcome the return of Adrian Purtell, who has  recovered from the heart attack he suffered last year, they will be without Matty Blythe, Matt Diskin and Jamie Langley. Hull are in better form at the moment and can  edge a high scoring game.
