The Czech Republic's men will aim to emulate their women by beating Spain in the final of the Davis Cup in Prague over the weekend.

The Czech women defeated Serbia to retain the Fed Cup title two weeks ago and the men are 4/5 with bet365 to back that up with victory on a fast, indoor surface in the O2 Arena. Radek Stepanek, who is set for a leading role for the Czechs alongside Tomas Berdych, believes that the hosts have a number of factors in their favour, including the absence through injury of Rafael Nadal. Stepanek said: "Our three greatest advantages are the choice of surface, the home crowd and Rafael Nadal's absence." David Ferrer and Nicolas Almagro are set to play the singles rubbers in the absence of Nadal, with ATP World Tour champions Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez teaming up for the doubles. The two teams met in the final three years ago when home advantage helped Spain to a 5-0 victory on clay in Valencia.
