Barcelona v Paris St-Germain, Wednesday 19:45, Sky Sports 2

Barcelona have scored the opening goal in each of their four encounters against Paris St-Germain in European competition

It's advantage Barcelona at the Camp Nou and, after a fast-paced, open encounter in France, we can expect more of the same in the return leg. Despite the absence of  Lionel Messi in Saturday's La Liga game, Barca still managed to stick five past Mallorca. On the scoresheet twice for the Catalans was Alexis Sanchez, who looks a cert  to be picked after four straight starts. Three of the Chilean's five La Liga and Champions League goals this season have been the openers.

Recommended Bet: Back Alexis Sanchez to score first @ 6.8

Barcelona have always scored against French opposition in the Champions League (11 games)

Barcelona have been at their destructive best in front of their fans of late and, even more impressively, have gone 20 Champions League games unbeaten there. The  Spanish giants have notched 14 goals in their last four games in all competitions at the Camp Nou. This includes the 4-0 demolition of AC Milan in the last round of  the Champions League and, in all four of those most recent home victories, the Catalans have registered in each half as well.

Best Bet: Back Barcelona to score in both halves @ 1.87

Juventus v Bayern Munich, Wednesday 19:45, Sky Sports 4

Only Arsenal have stopped Bayern Munich from scoring in the Champions League this season

The newly crowned Bundesliga champions were mightily impressive in putting the soon-to-be Serie A champs to the sword at the Allianz Arena. Bayern bossed the encounter  and now Juventus must come out all guns blazing in Turin. This is bound to leave spaces for Bayern to exploit and, even if the Germans do concede on the night, at  least one goal in each of their previous six Champions League away games indicates they should find the net once more in Italy.

Recommended Bet: Back both teams to score @ 1.73

Bayern Munich have picked up the most cards among teams left in this season's Champions League (24; 23 yellows, 1 red)

While last year's finalists have been a real force to be reckoned with again in 2012/13, their discipline leaves a little to be desired. The first-leg encounter saw  five yellow cards brandished but, to be fair to Bayern, it was their visitors who were the greater offenders. With so many skilful players in their side, it makes it  very tricky for opponents to avoid bookings as well. The previous two encounters against Arsenal produced no fewer than 17 bookings across the two legs.

Recommended Bet: Back Over 4.5 Cards @ 1.84
