Golf: Watson eyes Augusta repeat

Bubba Watson, 35/1 with bet365 to triumph at Augusta again, says he wouldn’t be shocked if he joined an elite group of players who have won back-to-back Masters titles.

American left-hander Watson edged home 12 months ago by beating Louis Oosthuizen in a play-off and now takes to the famous Augusta fairways looking to become only the fourth man in history to successfully defend the crown. The company which Watson could join could hardly be more illustrious, with Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Sir Nick Faldo the only other men to don the Green Jacket in consecutive years. An upbeat Watson told reporters: "As a competitor, as a believer in my game, yeah, I can see me pulling off. It wouldn't shock me. "But, the way I look at it, I'm going out there and I want to make the cut because first off I don't want to have to sit around and give somebody the Green Jacket. I want to be here on Sunday, playing."
