Jonno Turner looks at action on the continent as he aims to kick start the week with some value winners...

We're off to France for our first pick of the day - and Le Havre welcome Caen to Stade Oceane, looking to pick up their fifth home win on the bounce.

Eric Mombaerts' side will be full of confidence ahead of this clash, and desperate to continue their momentum as they host a side who have picked up some decent  results of late.

Les Ciel et Marine sit eighth in the Ligue 2 table as they prepare for this one - but maximum points here could lift them up into sixth place - and would pile the  pressure on the top five with the end of the campaign in sight.

Just two goals shipped in their last four in front of their own fans underlines just how dominant Le Havre have looked on their own patch of late, and they will need  to extend that form if they are going to secure another victory against fourth-placed Caen.

The visitors have also been going well on their own patch - and have won four of their last five at the Stade Malherbe, but it is their results on the road which have  let them down, and they will be desperate to arrest that slump here.

Just one win from their last six on their travels suggests that Patrice Garande's charges do sometimes suffer from home sickness, and just two goals scored in four  games away from home indicates that they have been lacking in the final third in recent weeks.

Switching our attentions to Italy now - and Serie B, where out of sorts Padova welcome Varese to the Stadio Euganeo.

The hosts are in the midst of a miserable run of form ahead of this one, and will be keen to correct a run of results which has seen them lose their last five on the  bounce.

Fulvio Pea's side haven't even notched a single goal in that time, and that suggests that their lack of firepower is having a real dismantling effect on their season.

And so tight is this division, that the Veneto club could well find themselves dragged into the relegation battle if they don't find a way to engineer a turnaround in  fortunes soon.

Visitors Varese have lost just two of their last half a dozen on the road, and Fabrizio Castori's side will be looking to pick up another three points here as they aim  to cement their place in the top six.

A 3-0 defeat of Reggina in their last outing will have boosted confidence in the Leopardi camp, and the Stadio Franco Ossola club will be hoping to build on that  scoreline here - at cracking odds.

Bet 2: Varese (AWAY) @ 3.15
