Trainer Harry Fry has high hopes that Rock on Ruby can take revenge on Hurricane Fly in the Irish Champion Hurdle in two weeks' time.

Ruby had to settle for second place behind Hurricane Fly in the English Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham last month, but Fry believes that his charge can come out on top at Punchestown on Friday 26th April. He said: "At Punchestown on the right sort of ground we would be hopeful of turning things round, although it couldn't really be harder because Hurricane Fly is a true champion. "Jockey Noel Fehily's first response after the Champion Hurdle was that on better ground - given that Hurricane favours it softer - it could be a different story." Hurricane Fly has won the Irish Champion Hurdle is each of the last three years, but Rock on Ruby did beat the Irish horse in the English Champion Hurdle in 2012.
