Horse Racing: Mullins star to miss Grand National

The Willie Mullins-trained Prince De Beauchene has a minor stress fracture and will miss the Grand National on 6th April as a result.

Prince De Beauchene had been considered a serious contender for the Aintree showpiece, but the Irish trainer confirmed on Wednesday that we will now miss the race. "He will require at least six weeks' box rest so will miss the Aintree Grand National," said Mullins. Mullins does have On His Own competing in the Grand National, who can be backed at 7/1 with bet365 to come out on top. Imperial Commander is 18/1 and Teaforthree is 16/1.
