Lindegaard demands defensive solidity

Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard is alarmed at how many goals the team has conceded this season.

The Dane has warned that United have no chance of winning the Premier League title if they continue to keep shipping goals at such a rate. Lindegaard and his counterpart, David De Gea, have managed just one clean sheet each this term, with the United backline leaking 18 goals in the process. We can talk about it from now until tomorrow but it won't change the facts. It is a bad habit. "We don't have enough clean sheets.
