Low score as QPR host Norwich

Lay over 2.5 goals in QPR v Norwich @ 2.08

No wonder QPR were pushing all the boundaries they could to get another striker into Loftus Road as the last embers of the transfer window went dim. Harry Redknapp had every reason to try and snare some more strikers as his side have returned a Premier League low of just 18 goals from their 24 matches - Manchester United have scored over three times more. Of course no one besides Loic Remy arrived in the end to help the R's improve on a tally of just three goals from their last seven league games. Norwich did manage to grab Luciano Becchio and Kei Kamara, which is just as well as the Canaries have mustered just two goals in their last four league games themselves.

 

Lay Crystal Palace to beat Charlton @ 1.94

Unfortunately for Palace fans, their side's chances of automatic promotion - which were looking so rosy until December time - are now looking increasingly bleak in light of a particularly sticky mid-season slump. Ian Holloway's Eagles have picked up just one Championship win in their last nine outings, and even that came four games ago against a freefalling Wolves side. All the Wilfried Zaha transfer talk may have caused them to take their eyes off the prize, but it's a severe case of the drawing disease which has done them the most damage, with five of those nine ending in parity. Next up is this gritty south London derby which was only split by one goal in the reverse fixture. The Addicks have won their last two away league games as well.

 

Lay Burnley to beat Peterborough @ 2.54

Burnley's recent three-game winning streak helped push them towards the promotion places in the second tier, though a really disappointing home loss to Birmingham last time out halted their ascent. Like so many teams in the division, the Clarets find it difficult to piece together consistency. Their other major issue of late which will be troubling Sean Dyche is discipline. They finished with ten men in recent defeats to strugglers Birmingham and Barnsley. To make matters worse, Burnley's next hosts Peterborough are in great form at home. The Posh are unbeaten in their last three Championship games at London Road, winning two and drawing with promotion chasing Hull a fortnight ago.
