Mancini backs Toure to shock Real

Yaya Toure could be a key man for Manchester City in Wednesday's Champions League clash against Real Madrid, according to boss Roberto Mancini.

City, who moved to the top of the Premier League table at the weekend after thrashing Aston Villa 5-0, are 21/10 with bet365 to beat Real while Jose Mourinho's side are 23/20 to secure the victory. Mancini is confident his team will be up for the game and that, in midfielder Toure, they possess a potential match-winner, after his commanding performance against Villa. Mancini said: "If Yaya plays the way he did on Saturday, we can win a lot of games. He brought balance to the team, he didn't lose the ball, and he was strong. "The whole team played well against Villa but Yaya was important in the middle. He can make those runs from the holding position, but we can't forget that we have four offensive players in front. "We need to strike a balance - without that balance it makes it difficult for our defenders."
