Mandzukic backs Bayern for glory

Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic believes that his side, 11/4 with bet365 to be champions, can go one better than last season and win the Champions League.

Bayern failed to win the trophy at their own Allianz Arena when they lost on penalties to Chelsea, but, having booked their place in the semi-finals this time around, Mandzukic sees plenty of reasons to be confident of glory at Wembley in May. The Croat commented: "If you want to win, then you've got to play against the best, so I don't mind who we get in the semi-finals. "If we play as well as this and we have such good players, then we know we can do it." Barcelona, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are the clubs joining Bayern in the hat for Friday's last-four draw, with Mandzukic set to miss the first leg of the semi-final due to suspension.
