McAuley vows to end winless run

England - Premier League

West Brom defender Gareth McAuley is determined to bring his side's six-game winless run to an end by beating Liverpool at Anfield.

Steve Clarke's side are without a Premier League victory since their 2-1 win at QPR on Boxing Day but the Baggies are 9/1 with bet365 to take three points away from Merseyside on Monday and 7/1 to keep a clean sheet against Brendan Rodgers' men. McAuley said: "It's been a while since we won a game and we're trying to stay as positive as we can. "But we need to get a result on the board as quickly as possible. It'll be tough at Liverpool, but it's a challenge that we have to step up to and relish." Last season the Baggies snatched a 1-0 victory at Anfield thanks to a late Peter Odemwingie goal, while this season Albion won 3-0 at home to the Reds on the opening weekend of the campaign. Real Madrid and Man Utd clash in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League and we've got a fantastic free bet offer to add to the excitement.
