San Antonio Leads Series 2-0

 

The Memphis Grizzlies lost Game 2 93-89 in overtime on Tuesday evening. This was a heartbreaking defeat for Memphis in a game that could have gone either way. The Grizzlies overcame a 12 point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime, but shot poorly in the extra period.

 

After losing the first two games in San Antonio, the Grizzlies return home where they have lost just once in the last three months.

 

If Memphis are going to get back in to the series they must shoot the ball better. In Game 2 they shot a dreadful 24 percent in the second quarter. Forward Zach Randolph has not played anywhere near his best in this series and must bounce back to form on his home court.

 

San Antonio point-guard Tony Parker has had a field day against the Memphis defense in the first two games. He has to be contained in this crucial game.

 

This is must-win time for the Grizzlies and I fully expect them to get back in the series with a big effort.
