On Saturday night the Miami Heat must achieve something that neither side has been able to thus far in this series, which is to win consecutive games.

It has been a fascinating and unpredictable match-up with the Indiana Pacers, who must now avoid defeat to force a Game 7.

Nevertheless, when Miami needed their league MVP he duly stepped up as LeBron James went for 30 points at the AA Arena on Thursday night.

The last two meetings in Indiana have been high scoring affairs, a trend that will suit the Heat more so and they are favourites to wrap this series up to set up a  clash with the San Antonio Spurs.

Chris Bosh suggested after their last meeting that Miami are ready to win another "defensive slugfest", while they have also countered well on the offensive end  getting key contributions from the likes of Udonis Haslem.

However, they will have to do it without the suspended Chris "Birdman" Andersen, who will be a big loss given his energy and 15-for-15 shooting this series.

The playoff road will likely end here for the Pacers. They will be delighted with their progress this year, but ultimately it won't be enough to stop Miami who have  won their last six series-closeout games.
