Murray close to number two spot

ATP Masters 1000

Andy Murray, 1/2 with bet365 to triumph in Miami, is just two wins away from usurping Roger Federer as world number two behind Novak  Djokovic.

Murray strolled into the last four of the Miami Masters with a 6-4 6-3 victory over Marin Cilic, meaning that he only has to see off Richard Gasquet in the  semi-finals and then win the final to overtake Federer. Should Murray defeat Gasquet, he will face either David Ferrer or Tommy Haas in the final in Miami, where he  won the title in 2009. Murray, who is remaining focused on the job of winning matches rather than rankings, said: "Winning matches is my goal and by doing that the  rankings take care of themselves. "I could add extra tournaments to try to get to number two, but I want to stick to the schedule I've got and hopefully move up the  rankings if I can."
