Rafael Nadal, 5/6 with bet365 to win the French Open, says that he is still some way off full fitness, despite returning to the court in Chile last week.

Nadal reached the final of the VTR Open, but a shock three-set loss to Argentinian Horacio Zeballos showed that the King of Clay is still in the recovery stage from long-term knee problems. A clearly concerned Nadal told El Mundo: "I'm lacking speed in my reactions, I'm lacking energy when I need it. I'm lacking power in my legs to be able to hit the ball long. "I'm missing all these things that make me competitive. I'm playing with what I've got and I hope to get stronger every day." Nadal already has seven French Open titles to his name, having won the title every year since 2005 apart from in 2009 when the injury-hit Spaniard lost out in the fourth round to Robin Soderling.
