Rafael Nadal is still some way off believing that he can challenge the likes of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Andy Murray for major honours.

Nadal has impressed since returning from a long-term knee injury, reaching the final of the VTR Open in Chile before winning the Brazil Open in Sao Paulo, but the Spaniard remains cautious about his progress. The seven-time French Open champion, who is 11/10 with bet365 to make it eight later this year, said: "We are going to see how the knee responds and then take stock. "I don't have any problem playing against better rivals because I accept that I can lose. Losing is not a problem for me. "I just need time to continue improving and return to a more competitive level." Nadal has only ever lost one match at Roland Garros, that in the fourth round in 2009 when he was ousted in four sets by eventual runner-up Robin Soderling.
