Nasri hails outstanding Toure

Samir Nasri believes Yaya Toure could have a vital role to play in the last few weeks of Manchester City's season.

The two men were instrumental in Roberto Mancini's team edging out Chelsea on Sunday to reach next month's FA Cup Final against Wigan Athletic. Nasri opened the scoring in the 2-1 victory, but it was the relentless and powerful running of Toure that caught the eye. City will host a dress rehearsal of the Final when they meet the Latics, 13/8 with bet365 to be relegated this season, at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday. City are keen to cement second spot in the Premier League and are 1/5 to win the FA Cup for a second time in three years. Nasri feels the influence of midfielder Toure cannot be overstated, saying: "That's how you define a great player, someone who always steps up for the big games. "You can see how important he is for this team. When he gets the ball and starts to run, he is very difficult to stop. For me, he is one of the best in that position."
