Indiana Leads Series 3-2

 

The Knicks won Game 5 85-75 in a tense affair at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night. Forward Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points and was the most effective player on  the floor.

 

This was a decent effort from New York who played with more intensity and  deserved the victory.

 

Game 6 of the series takes place in Indiana on Saturday night.

 

The Pacers are unbeaten at home in the playoffs and have an outstanding chance to close out the series. They may have to do it without point guard George Hill who is  nursing a concussion and is listed as day to day.

 

I think this is the end of the road for New York. They have struggled to put points on the board, and are 0-4 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
