Premier League on Betfair: Spurs keep the Champions League dream alive

13May 2013

England - Premier League

A come-from-behind win from Spurs ensures the top four market will be settled on the final day of the season...

The top four battle will go down to the final day after Spurs dug out a win at the Britannia Stadium today.

Tottenham rarely make life easy for themselves and were down after three minutes to a Steven Nzonzi header.

Clint Dempsey levelled from outside the area after Asmir Begovic came off his line and, though they dominated possession, it took until the 83rd minute before Spurs edged ahead through Emmanuel Adebayor's close range effort. Charlie Adam's sending off early on in the second half undoubtedly helped Andre Villas-Boas' top four hopefuls.

Tottenham are now two points ahead of fierce rivals Arsenal in the table, though Arsene Wenger's have a game in hand, playing FA Cup winners Wigan on Tuesday night.

The market makes Arsenal slight favourites at 1.86 with Spurs 2.16 outsiders.

The final day takes the Gunners to Newcastle while Tottenham host Sunderland.
