Redknapp ramps up Benitez pressure

Premier League

QPR manager Harry Redknapp has ramped up the pressure on Rafael Benitez by claiming "you'd have to be a real dope to mess it up" at Chelsea.

The capital rivals clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday in another must-win Premier League fixture for Redknapp's rock-bottom R's. Chelsea, by contrast, have the  incentive of climbing above north London rivals Tottenham to third in the table if they collect maximum points on home soil. Redknapp said: "You'd have to be a real  dope to mess it up with [the likes of] Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Frank Lampard. "He [Rafael Benitez] has walked into a squad of players there who are Champions League  winners - you've got a chance, haven't you?" Since Benitez took charge of last season's FA Cup and Champions League winners, the west Londoners have lost just one  Premier League game - 3-1 against West Ham at Upton Park on 1st December. Chelsea are 15/2 with bet365 to win the Premier League.
