Rugby Union: McCall thinks home advantage could be vital

27Dec 2012

Saracens' director of rugby Mark McCall hopes his side can take advantage of home comforts in the second half of the season.

Sarries will play seven of their remaining 11 Aviva Premiership matches on home soil, starting with two games over the Christmas and New Year period against Northampton Saints and Sale Sharks. McCall believes his side are well-placed to challenge for honours once again this season - they are 2/1 with bet365 to win the Aviva Premiership Grand Final, while Leicester Tigers can be backed at 15/8. McCall said: "We've got a lot of home games to look forward to. I think we're in a pretty good place as a club and the players can be very proud of themselves."
