British & Irish Lions lock Paul O'Connell is determined to foster a good atmosphere within the squad for next month's series against Australia.

O'Connell captained the Lions against the Springboks four years ago and insists that it is crucial to have a strong togetherness within the group. He said: "It's incredibly important. A lot of things we worked hard on last time out are going to be important this time round. The talent is there, there's some fantastic talent there but it's very important we become a team and we become a team early."
