Rugby Union: Warburton doubt for Barbarians battle

British & Irish Lions skipper Sam Warburton is a doubt for their opening tour game against the Barbarians on Saturday having picked up a knock in training.

The Welsh flanker has sat out a session at the Aberdeen Sports Ground ahead of the encounter with the Baa-Baas, who are 5/1 with bet365 to beat the Lions this weekend in Hong Kong. It's not believed to be a serious knock but this weekend's outing might come too soon for the talented back-rower. Lions head coach Warren Gatland is unlikely to risk his captain for the encounter with the Barbarians, with the first Test against Australia in Brisbane less than a month away.
