Serena sets up Sharapova showdown

Serena Williams will play Maria Sharapova in the French Open final after outclassing last year's beaten finalist Sara Errani in the semi-finals.

The number one seed eased to her 30th successive victory by thrashing Errani 6-0 6-1, and said afterwards: "I didn't necessarily go out there feeling great. For me, it was more like let's just see what happens and try to do the best I could." Meanwhile, Sharapova was far less impressive as she edged the other semi-final against Victoria Azarenka 6-1 2-6 6-4, despite serving 11 double faults. Sharapova is 9/1 with bet365 to beat Williams in three sets in Saturday's final and 11/2 to win this year's Wimbledon title.
