Sinclair in line for rare start

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini looks set to bring winger Scott Sinclair into his side for the visit of Reading to the Etihad Stadium as Samir Nasri will miss the game with a groin injury.

The 23-year-old has been forced to be patient after arriving from Swansea City in the summer for £6.5million, but seems certain to play in an attacking line-up that could also include Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and David Silva. Sinclair, 7/1 with bet365 to open the scoring against rock-bottom Reading, said: "I feel I've settled very well at the club and hopefully I can now get more game time but, at the same time, I know I have to be patient and wait my turn." Manchester City, who can be backed at 20/1 to win the match 5-1, have Gareth Barry available again after suspension, while Javi Garcia is expected to return to the bench.
