Szczesny ramps up top-four heat

England - Premier League

Wojciech Szczesny has taunted Tottenham by insisting Arsenal's top-four rivals "do not have enough quality" in the race to qualify for the Champions League.

Tottenham and Chelsea are locked in a heated battle with the Gunners to secure a place in Europe's premier club competition next season - and will lock horns on Wednesday in a crunch Premier League clash. Arsenal currently occupy fourth spot ahead of Tottenham, but have played a game more than their north London rivals and Rafael Benitez's men. Chelsea are quoted 1/4 by bet365 to secure a top-four spot, with Arsenal priced 1/4 and Andre Villas-Boas' men available to back at 2/1. "If we win our next two games it will be enough as either Chelsea or Spurs will drop points as they play each other," said Poland goalkeeper Szczesny. "Tottenham do not have enough quality." Arsenal have played in the Champions League for each of the last 15 seasons but are not in action until next Tuesday when they entertain FA Cup finalists and relegation-threatened Wigan.
