Villa starlets tipped to deal with pressure

Paul Lambert believes his young Aston Villa side has the ability to cope with the pressures of a relegation battle.

The Villains are in the bottom three after losing at home to Liverpool on Sunday, a team they had beaten at Anfield earlier in the season. They now face a crunch clash against Stoke City, who have been dragged into the mire over the last few weeks. Villa are 6/4 with bet365 to be relegated this season. The game at the Britannia Stadium, which Villa are 13/5 to win, is sure to be a tense encounter, but Lambert insists: "The lads have kept on going. We have been around and about the bottom three for the whole season. "They are handling the pressure of that. They know exactly what they have to do. When you start to win games, you start to pull other people into it."
