England - Premier League

Arsene Wenger has intimated that his Arsenal team could still challenge for second spot in the Premier League this season.

Wenger has been boosted by the weekend results which saw Chelsea lose at Manchester City 24 hours after his Gunners side had beaten Aston Villa 2-1. The win moved Arsenal to within a point of fourth-placed Spurs, who play West Ham next, before the two north London rivals meet on Sunday. Wenger's side are currently nine points adrift of second-placed Manchester City, with 11 games still to play, and are 4/5 with bet365 to finish in the top four. However, the Frenchman is setting his sights a little higher, saying: "Chelsea are just ahead and even Manchester City is not out of reach. It could be a tight fight until the end." A draw in the north London derby is available at 12/5.
